Sidhartha Singh Tulachan always desired to be a doctor. Similarly to his parents, he had a natural curiosity. Therefore, the practice of medicine offered an endless opportunity to peruse as well as solve complex problems. Thinking back, he then recounts, “I cannot remember a time when I did not envision myself becoming a doctor.”
A true citizen of the world, Dr. Tulachan, earned his Medical Doctorate in Nepal and his PhD in Japan, and then finally came to the United States. The U.S. is where he then completed his residency in Internal Medicine at NEOMED, in Ohio. He then went on to a fellowship in Gastroenterology at Augusta University in Georgia.
